We put together a three-month media relations programme which ran from mid-January to mid-April. It included inviting the press to the Bristol office launch, sending out press releases both locally and nationally, and developing strong angles for the media around ‘Becoming an employer of choice’, ‘The importance of energy efficiency’, and ‘How to reduce carbon emissions’.
The first press releases ‘International energy efficiency business makes Bristol its new home’ and ‘International energy efficiency business announces strong UK expansion and growth plans for 2022’, were sent out to the local and national press and had open rates of 42.9% and 54.3% respectively. Transform also delivered specific outreach to tech media outlets such as Wired and energy-focussed outlets such as Energy Monitor.
Best.Energy achieved fantastic success with coverage in Business in the News (9,200 coverage views) and Before It’s News (37,700 coverage views) as well as 25 additional media outlets. Best.Energy will see further coverage in the coming months with stories in Business Matter and an upcoming interview for BBC Points West as well as commissioned articles in key sector publication Convenience Store.
